Marvel’s ever-growing cinematic Universe just keeps getting larger, and as of right now it looks like they have no plans to stop. We got word of a Cloak & Dagger series being developed for Freeform back in April, and an announcement about The Runaways receiving their own series on Hulu as well around the same time. These are both Marvel properties that not too many people are familiar with, but they each come with great characters, and stories that are equally as great. Regardless, people seem to be excited for both shows, even though little to no information has been shared about either one – until now.
The alleged news comes in the form of a tweet, from SeasonZeroCom (hat tip to MCUExchange), who claimed that The pilot for The Runaways will begin it’s filming in Los Angeles in February, while Cloak & Dagger begins filming the same month, but in New Orleans.
Seeing as how not a single casting announcement has been made for either show, we’ll take this one with a grain of salt. We do hope that both shows do begin filming next month, so we can get them earlier than their original 2018 release dates.

Cloak & Dagger is scheduled to debut on Freeform in 2018; The Runaways has no official release date, but will be available for streaming on Hulu.
