Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets Trailer #1 Released

Here it is guys, the trailer none of you have been waiting for! Seriously though, this movie is getting very little buzz. Whats up with that?

Nevertheless, we’ve got you guys covered. We’re a bit late, but we wanted to show you guys the first trailer for Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.

Luc Bensson directed this one, and it’s a lot more colorful than some of his previous works (such as The Fifth Element and Lucy). It’s shot on a grand scale, and looks similar to Guardians of the Galaxy in a way, and also similar to the video game Mass Effect. Mostly because of the suits the characters wear.

Speaking of characters, we get to see some small exchanges between the film’s two stars Dane DeHaan (who plays Valerian), and Cara Delevingne (who plays Lauraline). Also, Rihanna is in this film. We totally had no idea about that until we saw this trailer, but there you go.

We don’t want to spoil it for you, but it looks like this is going to be an action packed adventure.Check it out above and let us know what you think in the comment section below!

Here’s the official synopsis:

“Special operatives Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) maintain order throughout the universe for the government of the human territories. Under orders from their commander (Clive Owen), the duo embark on a mission to Alpha, an intergalactic city where diverse species share their technology and resources for the betterment of all. The ever-expanding metropolis is also home to sinister forces that jeopardize the future of mankind.”

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is scheduled to release on July 21st, 2017.
