Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Daisy is ‘Incredibly Powerful’ in Season 4

[SPOILERS for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3]

Later tonight we’ll be reuniting with the team of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. since it begins it’s forth season, and from what we’ve seen in the trailers, a lot has changed.

For one, both Ward/ Hive and Lincoln are dead, there’s a new director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daisy has gone rouge, and most shockingly, Ghost Rider will be present in this season. That’s a lot to take in, so we’ll just wait and see what happens with most of it tonight. What we still want to know right now is what’s up with Daisy? Like we said earlier, she went rogue by the end of the season finale, and of course that meant she had to adapt a punk rock look and some dark makeup as well. It’s a package deal.

Chloe Bennet spoke on Daisy going solo, as well as her ruthlessness in this new season, but apparently more has changed about her besides her social skills and her personality. While speaking with CBR, Bennet discussed the drastic change in Daisy’s power levels:

“She’s incredibly powerful. I think her power, since you’ve seen her in season two, to now she’s grown so much power-wise and just skill-wise between fighting and arms and her powers. But you’ll see the toll of being on her own and being rogue being taken on her, because S.H.I.E.L.D. regulates these Inhumans and their powers for a reason, and you’ll see that.”

This is kind of scary when you think about it. If you remember back in season 2, Daisy was first discovering her powers, and she was already shaking whole football fields. 2 seasons later she’s learned how to control that ability with no S.H.I.E.L.D. restraints, so the possibilities are endless right now when it comes to the mastery of her abilities. Luckily, we won’t have to wait to long to find out just how much stronger she is. Make sure to tune in tonight!

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 airs tonight at 10pm EST on ABC.
