While many people have tons of negative things to say about Zack Snyder’s directing style, we have to admit the guy is pretty great at creating art on the screen, whether that comes from scenes in the film, or from character costumes. We all remember a few years back when he first revealed that image of Ben Affleck in the new Batsuit for Batman V Superman (above), and the internet pretty much lost it. This suit had never been seen in a live-action film, so it was a fresh take on Batman, and it was super cool. fast forward a few years later and now, Snyder is giving us a look at another unique suit for the Dark Knight.

In a twitter post early today, Snyder gave us a sneak peek of one of the suits Batman will be donning in next year’s Justice League, captioning the photo with “Homestretch. Last day filming Batman in the new Tactical Batsuit. Take a look at the picture below:

Most people will notice that the suit is a bit more armored and slimmer, and in a way resembles the Christian Bale batsuit from The Dark Knight trilogy. There seems to be more protection around his forearms and chest. Also, the googles he wears here are noticeably smaller. This suit looks as if it’s made for combating someone who’s very skilled and could do some serious damage to him if he isn’t careful. Deathstroke, maybe?

Obviously we don’t know the specific purpose of this suit, but it’s said that he’s to have multiple costumes this time around, so there’s more to see. We think it’s pretty sweet. Snyder did a good job. What do you guys think of this specific one though? We want to know your thoughts, so sound off in the comment section!

Justice League Part One is scheduled to release on November 17th, 2017.
