In the year 2007, BioWare, Microsoft Studios and EA engulfed gamers in the word of Mass Effect. They allowed you to take control of Commander Sheppard, a soldier who’s basically on a mission to save the Galaxy – with the help of his crew of course – from a group of advanced and and powerful beings known as Reapers. This is more or less your main mission for the three games that follow Commander Sheppard’s story. Now, a new story is on the horizon, as you prepare to explore a new Galaxy as a new character in Mass Effect: Andromeda.
EA took advantage of their press conference during E3 to show us a trailer for the game. Sadly, it’s not a gameplay trailer, but it gives you an idea of what we’re going to see when we step into the new galaxy, Andromeda.
By the looks of the trailer, we get a new ship, new enemies, new planets (obviously), and some new tech. We haven’t received as much footage or information about the game, but Aaryn Flynn, the studio manager over at Bioware has promised that they’re going to “push the boundaries of known space,” and also announced that players will get “more freedom than they’ve ever had in the Mass Effect universe.” You can view the trailer above to get your quick look at what to expect in the game. As soon as we hear more info about the game, we’ll let you guys know!
Mass Effect: Andromeda is scheduled to be released in Spring 2017, and will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC
