Four Way DC TV Crossover Teased by Stephen Amell

Each superhero show on The CW has concluded their seasons for now, and are expected to pick things back up in Fall 2016. The news of Supergirl moving over to The CW for it’s second season certainly made a lot of people happy, but it also opens up the possibility to new crossover events and team ups for our heroes. Usually we’d only see a two night crossover between Arrow and The Flash, which are the two shows that started this all off, but with two new shows in their roster, we may be seeing even more nights of super heroic team ups ahead.

During a Panel at Wizard World (hat tip to, Arrow star Stephen Amell speaks on the prospect of the four shows crossing over, due to them being on the same network:

“I think what we’ll end up seeing is one giant four-night crossover. No seriously. [Many applause] How we’re going to end up doing that… I don’t know. But, this is kind of an unprecedented moment in terms of the history of network television. To have four shows, same showrunner. Obviously Supergirl is in a little bit of a different universe, but we can fix that. That’s one line of dialogue and it’s all fixed. So I would suspect Oliver will be meeting Supergirl at some point.”

It seems almost inevitable that we’d see the four shows cross over, or at least two of the new ones. We don’t suspect it’ll happen at the beginning of the seasons, but probably further down the line. Maybe the events of the season two finale of The Flash (go watch that if you haven’t) will play a part in the crossover happening. We’ll just have to wait and see what goes down on The CW.

Supergirl Season 2 will return in Fall on The CW.

The Flash airs on The CW every Tuesday at 8/7pm CST; Arrow at the same time on Wednesday; Legends of Tomorrow at the same time on Thursday.
