In just a few years, we’re going to see what’s likely to be the biggest live action Superhero film ever made. Avengers: Infinity War (titled soon to be changed) will be the culmination of every Marvel Studios film we’ve seen up to this point, and it’s going to be packed with heroes without a doubt. Obviously, everyone wants to see every character we’ve seen in the MCU get a bit of screen time in Infinity War, but everyone is wondering if the earth’s mightiest heroes are going to fight alongside their MCU cosmic counterpart, The Guardians of The Galaxy? Well the writers of Infinity War have given us an answer, although it’s kind of sarcastic.

While interviewing with Nerdist, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely playfully confirm that we can see at least some members of the Guardians in Infinity War. In the interview, they make this cryptic statement:

“Let me put it this way. You know who owns that gauntlet, right. And you know who’s in another movie and his kids are in that movie…you do the math.”

Okay so they’re toying with us obviously, but we can expect to see some of these characters in Infinity War. We already know Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) will be making an appearance in the film, but we’ll just have to wait and see which of the other team members makes the cut by the time Infinity Wars makes it way to theaters.

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2  is scheduled to release on May 5th, 2017.

Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 is scheduled to release on May 4th, 2018.
