It seems as though Netflix has become the go-to streaming platform for Marvel whenever they want to add another show to the MCU using their more violent and adult comic book characters. Daredevil was the first of these shows, then Jessica Jones. Iron Fist is currently filming, and Luke Cage will be out soon as well. The Punisher is also set to receive his own show, due to the extremely positive reception his character received on Daredevil Season 2. It seems as though Netflix/Marvel are so sure that Punisher is gonna be good, they’re just over there like “What the hell, lets make another one. or two or three!”

A rumor has surfaced via MovieCreedLive, and in that rumor they state that a reliable sources has told them that Marvel and Netflix are producing three new shows, and the characters will indeed be Blade, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, three characters on Marvel’s darker and supernatural spectrum.

There’s really nothing official to go on here, so this rumor was pretty much just thrown up in the air. However on the off chance that it came to pass, it’d be fun to see the revival of two out of three of these characters in a live action iteration We’ve seen Ghost Rider (Nicholas Cage…enough said), and also Blade (Wesley Snipes), but no Moon Knight. These characters would fit perfectly in the world of Netflix, seeing as how their stories are too dark for the PG-13 world setup by Marvel Studios films.

Obviously you should take this with a pretty big grain of salt, but hey, maybe we’ll get lucky. We’ll keep you all updated on what becomes of this.
