So far the list of publicly announced cast members for Spider-Man: Homecoming is pretty small, but it looks like there have two new additions to the cast.
In an exclusive that they scored, The Wrap has discovered that One Life to Live actress Laura Harrier has landed a role in the upcoming film. On the other hand, Deadline happened to great the news that Grand Budapest Hotel actor Tony Revolori had also been included in the cast. What we know about each characters role is that Harrier was cast to play not a villain, but another student at Peter Parker’s school, and that the role would be somewhat “significant.” As for Revolori, not too much insight in his role. Although not a villain either, his role has been described as “part of Peter Parker’s high school crowd but isn’t a villain.” So both actors will be members of Parker’s school, but their names and roles have yet to be announced. Could they be new characters that we’ve never seen in the comics like Zendaya’s character Michelle? We’ll have to wait and see.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is scheduled to release on July 7th, 2017.
