There’s just a little over a month left until the release of the long awaited Captain America: Civil War makes it’s way to theaters. This film is set to feature more heroes in the same film at one time than Marvel has ever attempted before. Of course those heroes aren’t all going to be singing kumbaya around a campfire, no, they’re going to be exchanging fisticuffs. It’s been rumored that one of the fight scenes in this film is going to be around 15 minuted and shot completely in IMAX. That’s a long time to watch heroes exchange blows. Of course with a scene of this caliber, it’s going to take a few shots to get it right, and we’ve got a few images giving us a small glimpses of the scenes.
Now there’s only a couple of pictures, but they shows the characters being filmed on set – with green screen backdrops – in what looks like fight sequences. Take a look in the slideshow below:
It’s unclear exactly which scene this is due to the green screen, but due to the fact that most of both teams are there, and since there are vehicles in the back, it looks as thought these shots could be taken from the fight scene on the airport tarmac. Each match up in these images seems to almost be a personal fight, and with this Civil War being described as “more aggressive in tone” than Captain America: The Winter Soldier, we can expect some fights with a lot of action and no punches being pulled.
Captain America: Civil War is scheduled to release on May 6th, 2016.
