6 months ago we were treated to our first trailer for DC/Warner Bros. Suicide Squad. It showed us each member of the team, but honestly the spotlight was mostly on Will Smith and Margot Robbie’s Characters, Deadshot and Harley Quinn. However, we just received another, better look at the team of notorious villains in the new trailer that was released tonight.
The tone in this trailer is very noticeably lighter than the first one (mostly due to the fact that Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ was playing throughout the trailer), but still had enough grit to remind us that this movie isn’t gonna be all fun and games. There’s also more dialogue between the squad, so we get a better sense of how each character acts and their personalities this time around. As well as that, we got a new look and a better feel of Jared Leto’s Joker in this trailer too. He seems to be sticking true to the source material, but making the character his own at the same time.
And of course with a new trailer comes new promo posters. And two of those have been released now, which you can see below:
It’s still unclear what was so bad and dangerous in the world that Amanda Waller (played by Viola Davis) needed to recruit the help of this team of villains for, but we’re sure it’ll make for a good challenge for the squad. And it’s very likely that they’re going to cause some trouble along the way. After all, they’re bad guys. Its what they do.

Suicide Squad is scheduled to release on August 5th, 2016.
