With 2016 approaching very quickly, superhero fans wait impatiently to see some of the most iconic – and unique- properties being brought to life in theaters, and among those properties is Twentieth Century Fox’s Deadpool. The movie has been set to release on February 12th, and we’ve seen images and trailers of Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth, but it seems like the crew is headed back to Vancouver to get some reshoots of the film.

Reynolds confirmed that the team was heading back up to Vancouver to revisit every site they shot at to get some additional photography, minus one of the compounds that has been demolished since they shot on that location. This means that we should expect new promo images to be released in the distant future, showcasing more of the film.

It has also just recently been announced that moviegoers who see Deadpool in theaters will now have the option to view it in IMAX format, since 20th Century Fox has just secured a multi-picture deal with IMAX to show several of their future tentpole movies in the cinema format. Other films included in this deal besides Deadpool are Independence Day: Resurgence, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, and the yet-to-be-titled Wolverine movie.

As soon as any more information pertaining to Deadpool is released, we’ll have the scoop, hot and ready for you on the site.

Deadpool is scheduled to release on February 12th, 2016.
