The Flash: Episode Photos Include Hawkgirl and Dr.Light

The Flash --

In this week’s episode of The Flash, we were introduced to the new Firestorm duo, an Earth-2 version of Harrison Wells, and a short clip of King Shark. Now, it looks like we’ll be introduced to two new characters: Hawkgirl and Dr.Light.

Here is the episode’s description, courtesy of The CW:

“DR. LIGHT COMES THROUGH THE BREACH — Barry (Grant Gustin) learns a new breacher, Dr. Light, has come through the portal and sets off to capture her. Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) tells Barry that Dr. Light was not a threat on Earth-2 and that Barry can reason with her. However, during a fight with The Flash, she blinds him and drops some shocking news about Zoom. Meanwhile, Barry and Patty (Shantel VanSanten) go out on a date. Steve Shill directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Grainne Godfree (#205). Original airdate 11/3/2015.”

It’s clear that this version of Dr.Light will be from Earth-2, but it looks like the show’s version is going to be Barry’s past love interest and Iris’ coworker, Linda (unlike the comics, when the title of Dr.Light is held by scientist Kimiyo Hoshi).

Not much is known about the role being played by Kendra Saunders / Hawkgirl (Being played by Ciara Renee) in this episode of The Flash, but we know she will be working at Jitters, the coffee shop that Barry and the rest of the team usually hang out at. Regardless, we’ll see her in 2016’s Arrow and Flash series, Legends of Tomorrow.

This episode will also feature Teddy Sears reprising the role of Jay Garrick / Earth-2 Flash.
